End-of-year opening hours for 2025
The Grand Curtius is adjusting its opening hours at the end of the year.
The museum is also getting into the festive spirit!
- Early closure at 4.30 p.m. on Wednesday 24 and Wednesday 31 December 2025.
- Closed on Thursday 25 December 2025 and Thursday 1 January 2026.
The Grand Curtius is open on Friday 26 December 2025 (from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.).

A rare clock from the Consulate period, made of gilded bronze with a patina, depicting the heroes of Bernardin de Saint-Pierre's novel, carried on a palanquin by two sturdy savages (with glass eyes). The shipwreck of the Saint-Géran is depicted on the base of the clock.
On display in the Palm Room - Donated by Baron and Baroness François Duesberg.
