The tram construction site in Liège is starting its work phase in the Rue Féronstrée, which will be closed to car traffic from May 2022. The Grand Curtius will remain open at its usual times and days via its entrance: Féronstrée, 136 - 4000 Liège.
As of Monday, October 4, 2021 and due to exceptional preventive measures, the permanent collection of the glass department will not be accessible until further notice.
On November 24, 2023, the Grand Curtius will unveil the third and final part of the redeployment of its weapons department dedicated to knives and protections.
Due to trade union action on Wednesday 22 November 2023, the Grand Curtius will be closed on this date.
Among the permanent collections of the Grand Curtius, the arms department occupies a special place, entirely dedicated to one of the most characteristic industries of Liège: the armory. Since November 24, 2023, it has presented to visitors its new section of knives and protective equipment for military use.
Don't forget, the Grand Curtius will be closed on 1, 2 and 11 November.
