Urbanus: photo exhibition

Twenty-two students from IHECS's first Masters' course in Journalism have been examining the issue of urban planning in Liège. During an immersive two-week workshop at RAVI (Résidences Ateliers Vivegnis International), they practised photojournalism based around this set theme.

Each student chose a district from the twenty-four that comprise Liège.

The mission of the students is photographic in nature. They wander through the neighbourhoods, hoping to capture the meaning, environment, plans and light. They had to choose figures for the photographs that live in their neighbourhood. It is important to remember that the subject was not architecture, but urban planning.

The exhibition is the result of their work.
