Andy Warhol by Typex

Grand Curtius

A Tale of Facts' is Andy Warhol's impressive biography, spread over 550 pages by Dutch cartoonist Typex, alias Raymond Koot, born in Amsterdam in 1962. The exhibition, conceived with the author for the Rencontres du 9e Art d'Aix-en-Provence in 2019, is presented in Liège, offering - simultaneously with La Boverie's exhibition 'Warhol - The American Dream Factory* - a personal and offbeat look at pop culture and the Warholian universe. Typex plays with humor and virtuosity of the styles that have marked the history of comics.

In partnership with the Rencontres du 9e Art d'Aix-en-Provence and Editions Casterman

The album "Andy, un conte de faits" by Typex, was published by Casterman on October 17, 2018 (562 pages).
